Sales Business Development Manager

BEGA North America is a values-based organization focused on commercial furniture and long-term growth. The Sales Business Development Manager will accelerate revenue growth through channel development, enterprise relationship management, specification influence, partnership development, account management, and strategic market development across institutional and commercial markets.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and grow a sustainable and expanding revenue stream that consistently meets or exceeds established sales goals
• Lead new business development across universities, healthcare systems, municipalities, corporate campuses, public spaces, and commercial projects
• Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, landscape architects, planners, developers, contractors, institutional buyers, and so on by delivering a world-class customer experience
• Serve as a high‑impact presenter and trusted brand ambassador
• Support, promote, and drive adoption of the BEGA Business System (BBS) through collaboration and continuous improvement

Requirements:

• Successful completion of BS/BA degree in sales, marketing, business, engineering, or a relevant field
• 10+ years of experience in commercial outdoor furniture and/or site amenities sales with specific professional experience in developing, maintaining, and growing direct sales channels
• Deep knowledge of construction industry channels and multi‑stakeholder decision environments
• Strong network across A&D and institutional markets
• Proven ability to generate significant revenue and accelerate conversations
• Position is remotely based within the continental United States
• Regular time in territory for appropriate market and/or customer base is required (50%+)
• Additional travel for factory visits, meetings, trade shows, and company events may be required (up to 20%)
• Ability to safely lift and handle large furniture samples and related materials
• Ability to safely operate a Sprinter Van or similar company vehicle
• Ability to work independently while managing travel, customer relationships, and project activity
• Candidates with professional training, industry certifications, and/or advanced degrees are preferred
