Personal Lines Customer Service Representative (CSR)

Chan Wright Insurance Agency Inc. is an independent insurance agency focused on helping clients understand and manage their risks. The Personal Lines Customer Service Representative will service personal insurance accounts, process policy transactions, handle renewals and claims, quote new and renewal business, and identify cross-selling opportunities for additional insurance products.

Responsibilities:

• Answer phone calls and respond to client inquiries regarding policies, coverage, and service needs
• Process policy changes, endorsements, cancellations, and reinstatements
• Review renewals, monitor renewal expirations, and assist with remarketing accounts when needed
• Quote and rate new business and renewal policies using carrier rating systems. Experience with Erie Insurance is highly desired
• Assist with claims processing and resolve billing and payment issues
• Cross-sell and round out accounts by identifying opportunities for additional insurance products including Life insurance coverage

Requirements:

• We are seeking a licensed full-time •experienced • Personal Lines Customer Service Representative (CSR)
• Good work ethic, well organized, super friendly and caring with strong Personal Lines experience are key qualities that will set a candidate apart
• This person must be comfortable with selling insurance products like auto, home, business and life insurance
• License: Property & Casualty (ANY state)
• License: Life (ANY state)
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Personal Lines with an independent insurance agency
• Some College; No Degree
• Preferred Carrier Experience: Erie Insurance
• License: Property & Casualty (NC and/or VA)
• License: Life (NC and/or VA)
• Management & Rating Systems: Carrier Rating Systems
• Computer Skills: Adobe, DocuSign, & Google Meet
