Account Manager - Cosmetic Raw Material Sales

Kuri Products is an innovation-driven cosmetic raw material supplier providing science-driven ingredient technologies to beauty brands, formulators, and manufacturers. The Account Manager will expand the customer base, manage relationships and sales opportunities, develop new business, and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to support commercial growth across the United States.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with cosmetic brands, contract manufacturers, and formulation laboratories
• Identify new business opportunities and grow existing customer accounts
• Proactively prospect and develop new customer relationships through outreach, networking, referrals, industry events, and other business development activities
• Manage sales opportunities from prospecting through quotation, sampling, follow-up, and commercialization
• Maintain an active sales pipeline and update CRM activities accurately
• Conduct customer presentations, product introductions, and business reviews
• Support customers throughout the sales process to ensure a positive experience
• Research target markets, customer segments, and emerging industry trends
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to identify opportunities for business growth
• Represent Kuri Products at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings
• Coordinate with marketing, operations, quality, and technical teams to support customer projects
• Assist with product sample coordination and follow-up activities
• Gather customer feedback and market intelligence to help guide business strategy
• Participate in supplier trainings and product education to continuously expand product knowledge
• Wear multiple hats and contribute wherever needed to support the company's continued growth
• Help improve internal processes and commercial operations
• Take ownership of projects and work independently with limited direction
• Contribute ideas that improve customer experience and business performance

Requirements:

• Passion for the cosmetic industry, formulation science, and innovation

• Ability to travel regularly throughout the United States
• Willingness to travel to Kuri Products' headquarters in New Jersey for meetings, training, and company events
• Attendance at domestic trade shows, supplier meetings, and customer visits as required
• Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Marketing, Chemistry, Biology, Cosmetic Science, or a related field
• 2–5 years of experience in B2B sales, account management, business development, or a related commercial role preferred
• Experience within the cosmetic, personal care, chemical, ingredient, or raw material industry is strongly preferred
• Previous experience working with formulators, R&D teams, or cosmetic manufacturers is a plus
• Familiarity with cosmetic raw materials or formulation science
• Technical background or experience in R&D is highly desirable but not required
• Experience using CRM software and Microsoft Office applications
• Experience working remotely and managing customer territories independently
• Korean language proficiency is highly valued due to regular communication with Korean suppliers, business partners, and industry contacts
