Sales Account Manager - Culinary Bases/Flavors - Remote

ADM is a global leader in human and animal nutrition and agricultural origination and processing, providing ingredients and solutions for food, beverages, health, and wellness. The Sales Account Manager will drive sales growth for culinary bases, flavorings, specialty ingredients, and formula solutions by managing key accounts, developing new business, executing sales strategies, and building long-term customer relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly
• Monitor customer satisfaction and work to resolve any issues that arise
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and objectives
• Identify new business opportunities and potential clients
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals
• Drive revenue growth by identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts
• Negotiate marketing programs and close sales deals to meet or exceed sales quotas
• Serve as the primary point of contact for product knowledge, manufacturing process, and application of product line
• Provide insights and recommendations to improve sales strategies and product offerings
• Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure seamless customer experience
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and account information
• Prepare regular reports on sales performance, account status, and market trends for senior management
• Demonstrate strong organization, time management and communication skills

Requirements:

• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with clients
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to travel up to 50% as needed
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Culinary Arts
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in customer-facing activity with focus on account and business opportunity management
• Experience in the food industry, flavors, processed cheese or ingredient sales
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Culinary arts experience as a Chef or food science and development position
• Advanced degree or relevant certifications
• Familiarity with Salesforce, Microsoft Office, SAP
