IP Recruiter Group is recruiting for a highly regarded intellectual property group serving sophisticated high-tech clients in a team-oriented, fully remote environment. The role focuses on preparing and prosecuting domestic and foreign patents involving computer science, software, computer engineering, and complex artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies, while also supporting related patent practice matters.

Responsibilities:

• The focus of the work will primarily relate to the preparation and prosecution of patents for domestic and foreign clients while also supporting practice needs in other related areas (e.g., patentability, infringement, and freedom to operate opinions; portfolio strategy and management; due diligence; Patent Trial and Appeal Board issues)

Requirements:

• Minimum BS Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or related
• Must have solid understanding of complex AI/ML
• Must have at least 1 year of full-time claim drafting and prosecutions experience
• Demonstrated for producing high-quality patents relating to complex related technologies
• Solid communication interpersonal skills for client interaction
• State bar and USPTO bar
• USPTO bar
• Willingness to pass USPTO bar with a full commitment to becoming a licensed Patent Agent
• Opportunity to work fully remotely as a patent attorney from anywhere in the USA
