Senior Product Manager, Credit & Pricing

Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, giving consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later without any hidden fees or compounding interest. They are seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead the Credit & Pricing Product team, responsible for consumer credit and merchant pricing. This role involves defining product strategy, collaborating with various teams, and driving innovative solutions to enhance user experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Define and drive product strategy in collaboration with your peers in Credit & Pricing engineering, analytics, and go-to-market teams
• Define new products and features with specs and prototypes that enable merchants to offer consumers attractive financing terms
• Analyze the impact of product features and define metrics for success
• Establish yourself as a trusted partner of our Credit, Pricing, Commercial, Design, and Engineering teams to successfully launch and scale products
• Collaborate across product teams to support initiatives that interface with Affirm’s Credit & Pricing capabilities (e.g., international expansion, large merchant integrations, new product verticals, cost optimizations)

Requirements:

• Minimum 4+ years of prior product or relevant experience in consumer finance, payments, underwriting, and machine learning models
• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, or other related fields; or equivalent practical experience
• You have a passion and drive to change consumer finance for the better
• You have a data-driven learning style and use quantitative information to make product decisions
• You like to test and learn in a way that incorporates both customer needs and data
• You must be comfortable operating autonomously and unafraid to learn/fail fast
• Experience shipping simple, elegant user-facing products with measurable impact to the bottom line
