Senior Business Solutions Analyst

Sagitec Solutions is seeking a Senior Business Solutions Analyst to support systems development teams, architects, and client stakeholders in its pension solutions practice. The role delivers and designs client solutions, translates business requirements into product configurations, supports testing and implementation, and helps standardize and improve business analysis and solution design practices.

Responsibilities:

• Participate and collaborate with client, development, and testing teams throughout the design, development, testing, and implementation of a solution
• Participate in or lead design and configuration reviews across projects to ensure consistency and quality. Lead meetings with client subject matter experts (SMEs) to clarify and confirm business requirements for solution configuration
• Facilitate meetings with Sagitec and client team participants
• Perform functional analysis of the client’s current business process and supporting documentation
• Convert business requirements to system capabilities and product configurations
• Retain responsibility for creation of business analysis deliverables and product configuration designs, including integrations across modules
• Support development teams in configuration of the product and the development of product customizations
• Communicate to technical resources for continued implementation of the solution
• Develop test strategy for assigned modules, lead and/ or support preparation of test cases and associated deliverables
• Create and load test data into database tables using advanced MS Excel spreadsheets, macros or queries
• Test product configurations and customization
• Support end users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and, if required, throughout the duration of maintenance and support agreements
• Participate in the creation of training materials and conduct training activities for system end users
• Execute production rollout activities
• Monitor progress and provide status reports to the Sagitec management
• Retain responsibility for delivery of the module functionality and solution to the client throughout the SDLC phases
• The role may include part-time or full-time travel to client locations
• The role may require working outside of your local time zone

Requirements:

• • A bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, IT, Management, Math, Business, or related field.  Master's degree a plus
• • Alternatively, candidates with professional experience and certification in actuarial sciences or CPAs will be considered in lieu of bachelor's degree stated above
• • Minimum of 7+ years of professional experience working in a Business Analyst / Solution Analyst role for the design, development, and implementation of large-scale solutions or in Corporate Accounting or Actuarial Sciences role
• • Experience evaluating business requirements and working with subject matter experts (SME) and technical analysts (TA) to translate into product configurations
• • Experience with BPMN and UI prototype creation
• • Proven ability to define task plans, manage time effectively across simultaneous project activities, and meet target deadlines
• • Drives assigned tasks to completion within target deadlines
• • Approaches tasks in an analytical manner and focuses on defining a solution to address root causes
• • Experience with multiple implementation methodologies (e.g., AGILE, waterfall)
• • Understanding of entity relationships and database schema; ability to modify data model to support product configuration/ customization
• • Experience with SQL and querying data structures
• • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
• • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to clearly articulate technical solutions to non-technical staff
• • Proven ability to manage client expectations
• • Experience in facilitating meetings and presenting to technical and non-technical staff
• • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work in a team environment, but also self-motivated to produce results with minimal direction
• • Ability to form working relationships with groups of people from varied backgrounds, experience, and education levels
• • Strong preference is given for experience with pension administration or benefit claim systems
• • Experience with CASE tools including rules engine (logical rules and decision tables) and business intelligence
• • Experience with financial transaction management (e.g., General Ledger, billings, allocation of funds)
• • Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps™
• • Experience with product implementations; specifically, product configuration
• • CBAP, ECBA, or PMI-PBA certification
