Project Manager-Retail Fit-Outs & Renovations

Turner & Townsend delivers transformational programs across the real estate, infrastructure, and natural resources sectors. The Project Manager will provide consulting services for a retail client account, managing store fit-outs and renovations from preconstruction planning and permitting through closeout, including scope, budgets, schedules, procurement, documentation, risk, and stakeholder coordination.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all areas of project management for commercial real estate projects. This includes planning, design, construction, occupancy, and closeout
• Interface directly with Architects and General Contractors, define scope, and manage RFP’s and RFIs
• Interface directly with clients to prepare all project elements, including the scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimates & budget, work plan schedule & landmarks, quality control, and risk identification
• Define the project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through the project qualification process. Conduct a standard request for proposals, complete bid evaluations, and recommend resources to clients
• Implement project documentation governance that is aligned with company and client requirements
• Ensure project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely, and coordinated
• Build action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule. Track the progress of each project and report status and variances
• Demonstrate ability to identify project threats and develop risk mitigation and contingency plans. Implement plans to reduce or eliminate project risks
• Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions
• Mentor others and share knowledge of your job subject area and have broad understanding of several job fields within the function
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE (Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence) values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement
• Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams

Requirements:

• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
• Ability to read architectural drawings and technical construction documents
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Smartsheet. Experience with Tango or similar project management software required
• Expert organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mentality
• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience
• In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered
• LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designation(s) preferred
• Experience with retail client accounts managing fit-out and renovation construction is preferred
• Knowledge of lease agreements and vendor management is highly desirable
• Corrigo or other facilities management software is desirable
