Mechanical Engineering - Summer 2027 Intern (US Person Required)

Honeywell Technologies is a global automation company focused on helping customers operate critical processes safely, reliably, and efficiently. The Mechanical Engineering Intern will gain hands-on experience assisting with mechanical system design, engineering research, testing, validation, and technical problem-solving while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and development of mechanical systems, components, and assemblies
• Conduct research and analysis to support engineering projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve technical problems and optimize designs
• Participate in testing and validation activities
• Gain exposure to industry-standard tools and software

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree (or higher) from an accredited college or university in Mechanical Engineering or similar field
• Must graduate December 2027 or later
• Must continue enrollment in degree program upon completion of the internship
• Validated academic excellence (3.0 GPA and higher)
• Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status
• Honeywell Technologies is currently unable to consider applicants who would require current or future sponsorship for employment authorization for this position. Candidates must be authorized to legally work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements
• Previous internship or project experience in mechanical engineering
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices
• Familiarity with product testing and validation processes
• Understanding of materials and manufacturing processes
