Quality Assurance Software Engineer - Salesforce

Wedgewood Pharmacy is dedicated to improving animal health through customized medication and compassionate care. The Quality Assurance Software Engineer will build automated, integration, API, Salesforce, and end-to-end tests; validate data; troubleshoot defects and production issues; and collaborate with development teams to improve software quality and testing processes.

Responsibilities:

• Building automated tests with Playwright and TypeScript
• Testing REST APIs with Postman and automated testing frameworks
• Testing Salesforce functionality, including custom objects, Flows, integrations, and Marketing Cloud
• Creating integration and end-to-end tests across multiple systems
• Performing thoughtful exploratory testing that goes beyond happy-path scenarios
• Validating data using APIs, SQL, logs, and application interfaces
• Working directly with developers while features are being built—not waiting until they're finished
• Participating in story refinement and helping identify requirements, edge cases, and risks early
• Troubleshooting defects and helping determine root cause
• Investigating production issues when something doesn't behave as expected
• Expanding automated regression coverage
• Helping integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Looking for ways to continuously improve how our team approaches quality

Requirements:

• • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• • Hands on experience with the following Technologies:
• • REST API testing; Salesforce, Playwright, TypeScript, Postman, JSON, SQL, Git
• You do need to be curious, comfortable learning new technology, and willing to dig into a problem until you understand what's actually happening
• • Experience working with Salesforce integrations or Salesforce Marketing Cloud is especially valuable
