Principal Business Systems Analyst

BAE Systems is a defense, aerospace, and security company delivering advanced electronics, information technology solutions, and customer support services. The Principal Business Systems Analyst will troubleshoot ERP, iPortal, and other IT-supported systems, support supply chain projects, and serve as a liaison between business functions and IT. The role also involves implementing solutions, supporting system upgrades and acquisitions, facilitating cross-functional meetings, and providing user support and best-practice solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Assist our customers by troubleshooting problems with our ERP System, iPortal apps and other IT supported systems
• Work with customers or IT to create, modify and implement solutions for Business Systems projects as needed
• Participate in system upgrades, integrating business acquisitions, and working through test scripts during conference room pilots on the changes and solutions
• Provide user support across all sites
• Provide Best Practice solutions

Requirements:

• Use Project management skills to support business needs
• Manage and support several Supply chain projects for Contracts, Planning and Shipping
• Ability to facilitate cross site/cross functional meetings to resolve issues
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to multitask
• Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 6 years work experience or equivalent experience
• Prior experience in procurement environment in Aerospace and Defense
• Prior experience in US Defense procurement i-Portal application toolset
