Apprentice Business Analyst

Gratia is a remote-first, apprenticeship-based platform that connects ambitious companies with hands-on experts and supports professional development. The Apprentice Business Analyst will execute operational work including processing claims, documenting processes, maintaining data reports, identifying anomalies, and resolving customer and stakeholder escalations.

Responsibilities:

• Process documentation, claims, and data reports strictly following standard operating procedures
• Identify and flag anomalies, missing information, or process breaks to senior team members before they become bigger issues
• Communicate directly with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve escalations and answer questions clearly
• Maintain and update tracking spreadsheets or internal systems to ensure accurate daily reporting
• Manage conflicting priorities and deadlines, communicating trade-offs to your team when urgent requests arrive

Requirements:

• • BS degree or equivalent practical experience
• • Up to 2 years of experience in an operations, administration, data entry, or customer-facing role (recent graduates are welcome)
• • High attention to detail and the discipline to follow multi-step processes accurately without cutting corners
• • Strong problem-solving instincts with a clear understanding of when to investigate an issue and when to escalate it
• • Excellent written and spoken English skills, with the ability to communicate empathetically during customer or stakeholder escalations
• • A flexible schedule that allows for a consistent daily overlap with US business hours
• • Fluency in Spanish is ideal
