Senior Project Manager

Syncron is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee planning, execution, and delivery of critical software development projects. The role leads cross-functional teams, provides technical guidance, manages stakeholders and quality, and improves project management processes.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, encompassing scope, objectives, timeline, resource allocation, and risk management
• Lead and coordinate large, cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
• Provide advanced technical guidance and expertise to project teams, ensuring adherence to best practices in software development and architecture
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and design teams to define technical requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives
• Communicate complex project status, risks, and issues effectively to stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and team members
• Manage stakeholder expectations, fostering strong relationships and ensuring high levels of satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure all deliverables meet the highest quality standards and comply with industry best practices and regulatory requirements
• Oversee rigorous testing and validation processes to ensure software solutions are reliable, scalable, and secure
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in project management and software development
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices, continually enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of project management processes

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 8+ years of experience in project management within the software development industry, with at least 4 years in a senior project management role
• Strong technical background with hands-on experience in software development, architecture, and technologies
• Proven experience in managing complex, large-scale projects from inception to completion
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented mindset
• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana) and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum)
• Master's degree
• preferably in SaaS
• PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and DevOps practices
