Manager Growth Marketing (Public Sector)

Akamai Technologies is seeking a Growth Marketing Manager to lead public sector marketing strategy and program execution across the US and Canada. The role focuses on building brand awareness, generating qualified leads and pipeline, accelerating revenue growth, coordinating with sales and channel partners, and optimizing campaigns through performance metrics and ROI analysis.

Responsibilities:

• Aligning with sales leadership to develop and execute marketing strategies across target public sector audiences
• Designing and executing multi-channel demand generation programs that generate qualified leads and sales pipeline
• Collaborating with direct sales teams and channel partners to develop and execute joint marketing programs
• Connecting regional sales needs with global marketing and product teams to drive alignment and execution
• Partnering with sales teams to improve lead conversion, funnel velocity, and pipeline performance
• Monitoring pipeline metrics, campaign performance, and ROI to optimize marketing investments
• Managing marketing budgets and allocating resources toward high-impact programs and initiatives

Requirements:

• Have 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent
• Have proven experience building and executing B2B demand generation campaigns within the technology industry
• Have familiarity with government procurement cycles, public sector purchasing dynamics, and key government initiatives
• Have experience supporting both direct sales organizations and channel partner networks
• Have a track record of driving alignment across matrixed sales, marketing, and cross-functional teams
• Have a data-informed mindset with experience using marketing data and CRM tools to measure business impact
