SAP Project Manager

Apolis is seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead SAP project initiatives from planning through implementation and transition to production support. The role manages project deliverables, schedules, financials, risks, resources, stakeholders, and cross-functional SAP teams.

Responsibilities:

• Take overall responsibility for all project-related deliverables
• Manage SAP projects through the complete project lifecycle
• Report project status to business and technology stakeholders at all levels
• Manage and coordinate full-time and part-time SAP functional consultants
• Ensure successful completion of project milestones and deliverables
• Manage project schedules, financials, budgets, and risks
• Develop and execute project plans in accordance with established project methodologies
• Create and execute cutover and transition plans for production support
• Collaborate with cross-functional project teams and foster strong team commitment
• Identify project risks and issues and develop appropriate mitigation strategies
• Adapt to changing technology and business requirements

Requirements:

• 7+ years of demonstrated hands-on experience managing SAP projects

• Strong understanding of SAP project lifecycle and project deliverables

• Experience managing:

  • Project schedules
  • Project financials
  • Project risks
  • Project resources

• Experience managing and coordinating SAP functional consultants

• Strong experience with cutover planning and transition to production support

• Excellent project status reporting and stakeholder communication skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in business terms

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills

• Excellent attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and take initiative

• Strong ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

• Ability to adapt quickly to changing technologies and business needs
