Senior Project Manager - Cardiology Implementation Services - Remote

The Senior Project Manager will lead complex cardiology implementation projects, coordinate clinical, technical, operational, and business teams, and manage project scope, timelines, risks, communications, and customer outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Lead large, complex cardiology implementation projects involving cross-functional clinical, technical, operational, software development, quality assurance and business teams
• Coordinate interconnected project teams and workstreams, including situations that require managing a team of teams or working alongside other project and program managers
• Translate clinical needs, workflows and customer requirements into clear technical and operational actions, and communicate technical considerations back to clinical and business stakeholders
• Develop and maintain implementation plans, project schedules, scope documentation, milestones, dependencies, resource requirements and delivery expectations
• Lead executive meetings, customer team meetings, project status meetings, planning sessions and escalation discussions
• Serve as the primary project contact for internal and external communications, issue escalation and project coordination
• Establish clear roles, responsibilities, task expectations and decision points across diverse working groups
• Manage multiple concurrent projects or workstreams with visibility to customer and internal leadership
• Identify, document, communicate and mitigate project risks, issues, dependencies and changes in scope
• Manage conflict, competing priorities, resource constraints and cross-functional dependencies in a constructive and timely manner
• Monitor project responsibilities and provide proactive follow-up to support timely completion of deliverables
• Prepare project status updates, issue analyses, executive communications and reporting for internal leaders and customers
• Manage implementation activities related to scope and contract adherence, resource coordination, system integration issues, communications and customer satisfaction
• Maintain proactive, solution-oriented communication across customer and internal stakeholder groups
• Demonstrate flexibility and sound judgment as project scope, timelines, customer needs or priorities change
• Support software release and deployment activities involving development, documentation, packaging, quality assurance and related implementation dependencies
• Contribute to internal process-improvement efforts and project management office initiatives as assigned
• Provide guidance or mentoring to project managers and other team members when appropriate

Requirements:

• • 2+ years of project management experience supporting healthcare technology, software implementation, clinical systems, or a related environment
• • 2+ years of experience working with radiology, cardiology, or medical-imaging workflows
• • 2+ years of experience using data and information to support business or project decisions
• • Demonstrated experience managing implementation projects with multiple workstreams, functional groups, dependencies, or customer stakeholders
• • Experience leading project planning, status meetings, customer communications, escalation discussions, and delivery follow-up
• • Demonstrated experience managing project risks, issues, competing priorities, resource dependencies, stakeholder conflicts, and communicating recommendations, decisions, and project status to leadership and customer stakeholders
• • Demonstrated experience translating clinical or operational requirements into clear technical actions and communicating technical considerations to clinical, operational, and business stakeholders
• • Experience using project-management software
• • Working knowledge of software development, release, deployment, documentation, or quality assurance processes
• • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• • Ability to travel up to 10%
• • PMP certification
• • Experience supporting cardiology products, services, imaging solutions, applications or clinical workflows
• • Experience coordinating multiple concurrent projects, workstreams or project teams
• • Clinical education, clinical work experience or professional experience partnering with clinical stakeholders on health care implementations
• • Health care implementation experience involving provider organizations or customer-facing clinical technology
• • Experience presenting to or communicating with executive-level customer and internal stakeholders
• • Experience using Salesforce, Jira or comparable customer, issue-management or work-tracking platforms
• • Experience with formal risk identification, mitigation, change control or mature process-management practices
• • Proficiency with Smartsheet, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and SharePoint
• • Working knowledge of Project Management Institute practices
• • Knowledge of HIPAA or SOX requirements as they apply to project delivery
