Sales Development Representative

ConstructConnect is hiring a Sales Development Representative for its Sales division. The role conducts outbound prospecting, generates interest in cloud-based SaaS solutions for the commercial construction industry, schedules and confirms demonstrations for Account Executives, and supports team sales targets.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver a value proposition and document all activity, calls and results in Salesforce.com
• Set qualified appointments for the Account Exectuives and enter information in Salesforce.com
• Cold calling from lists provided, targeted accounts, follow up to outbound marketing campaigns and responses to campaigns, and work independently to seek out prospects best suited to meet the team objective
• Participate in ongoing training as it relates to our products, services and sales training opportunities
• Document all activity, calls, and work results in the company’s CRM
• Recognize and alert manager of trends in prospect/customer calls

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree + 1 year of B2B sales experience OR Associates Degree and 3 years of account management or sales experience OR HS Diploma and 5 years of account management or sales experience OR 1 year in a ConstructConnect role
• Strong track record of achievement
• Experience with CRM software (Salesforce preferred)
• Experience in consultative and value selling, multiple sales techniques to include cold calling
• Thrive in a fast paced, changing environment
• The physical activities of this position include frequent sitting, telephone communication, and working on a computer for extended periods. Visual acuity is required to perform activities close to the eyes
• Team members are expected to maintain a dedicated and ergonomically appropriate remote workspace
• Team members who live within commuting distance of one of our office locations (Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky or Atlanta, Georgia) are expected to work in a hybrid capacity, with regular in-office presence as determined by the team or department
• All team members must reside and perform their work within the United States
• preferably selling a SaaS product or service
