Position Summary:
The Business Process Analyst (BPA) will provide strategic initiative support, business process analysis and improvement, performance management, and stakeholder coordination. The BPA will support the planning, coordination, implementation, execution, monitoring, and completion of finance-related strategic initiatives while ensuring consistency with organizational strategy, mission, commitments, and goals.
The BPA will manage assigned activities and deliverables within scope, maintain effective stakeholder relationships, identify and help remove barriers, and escalate risks or issues as needed to support successful initiative outcomes.

The Business Process Analyst (BPA) supports the Transformation Management Office in analyzing, documenting, and improving agency business processes. The BPA will apply business process analysis and Lean Six Sigma methodologies to identify inefficiencies, streamline workflows, and develop sustainable process improvements. The contractor will also provide high-quality process documentation, including process maps, standard operating procedures (SOPs), analysis reports, and recommendations, to support operational effectiveness, quality improvement, and transformation priorities.

The BPA should be able to understand current-state operations, identify improvement opportunities, translate findings into actionable plans, coordinate stakeholders, monitor performance, and help move strategic initiatives from planning through implementation and completion.
