Lifecycle & Affiliate Marketing Manager

Sona is a healthcare technology company that helps ultrasound providers securely share images and videos with patients. The Lifecycle & Affiliate Marketing Manager will build and manage Sona’s affiliate marketing program, optimize lifecycle email and in-app campaigns, create engaging content, and use analytics and experimentation to increase engagement, conversions, retention, and revenue.

Responsibilities:

• Own the day-to-day execution and performance of Sona's affiliate marketing program
• Identify and evaluate new affiliate partnership opportunities
• Work with the Chief Growth Officer to onboard and launch new affiliate partners
• Manage ongoing affiliate partner relationships and campaign execution
• Optimize affiliate placements throughout the Sona app and lifecycle email campaigns
• Own affiliate revenue reporting, conversion tracking, and performance optimization
• Recommend new monetization opportunities and initiatives to accelerate revenue growth
• Ensure partner exclusivity and contractual commitments are followed
• Own Sona's lifecycle email campaigns from onboarding through postpartum
• Build and optimize automated email journeys
• Develop audience segmentation and personalized messaging
• Improve open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and affiliate performance
• Conduct A/B testing to continuously improve campaign results
• Develop lifecycle strategies that increase engagement, affiliate conversions, and long-term user retention
• Write compelling email copy, subject lines, preview text, and calls-to-action
• Manage educational and promotional content throughout the Sona app
• Create engaging content that supports families throughout pregnancy and early parenthood
• Maintain Sona's editorial calendar
• Partner with our email designer to create engaging, high-performing campaigns
• Measure affiliate revenue and campaign performance
• Analyze user engagement, conversion, and retention metrics
• Identify opportunities to improve engagement, monetization, and customer experience
• Present insights and recommendations based on data and experimentation

Requirements:

• Have 3–6 years of experience in affiliate marketing, lifecycle marketing, growth marketing, email marketing, or a related role
• Have experience owning measurable revenue, conversion, or growth goals
• Are an exceptional writer with strong attention to detail
• Enjoy using data to improve marketing performance
• Are comfortable balancing creativity with analytical thinking
• Can work within brand exclusivity agreements and partnership guidelines where attention to detail is critical
• Are highly organized and comfortable managing multiple priorities
• Enjoy building new programs in a fast-paced startup environment
• Experience managing affiliate marketing programs
• Experience marketing a consumer mobile app or subscription product
• Experience marketing to expecting parents or families
• Experience with ActiveCampaign, Customer.io, Braze, HubSpot, Klaviyo, or similar lifecycle marketing platforms
• Familiarity with Mixpanel, Google Analytics, or similar analytics tools
• Comfortable using AI tools to accelerate writing, campaign creation, research, and analysis
