Social Media and Marketing Intern

Otoo Consulting Firm is a professional services organization providing strategic guidance and practical solutions to clients across diverse industries. The Social Media and Marketing Intern will support social media and marketing initiatives, including content creation, audience engagement, campaign tracking, influencer outreach, brand development, and promotional activities.

Responsibilities:

• Managing social media accounts; creating, scheduling, and posting content; monitoring audience engagement; responding to interactions professionally; researching trends and marketing opportunities; tracking campaign performance; assisting with reports and analytics; and supporting consistent brand messaging across digital and offline materials
• Researching and identifying relevant influencers, content creators, artists, entertainers, and tastemakers; conducting outreach; helping develop promotional partnerships; coordinating campaign content and deliverables; and supporting campaigns designed to increase brand awareness, audience reach, artist visibility, engagement, and exposure
• Supporting brand development, creative projects, events, showcases, webinars, and other marketing initiatives while collaborating with internal team members, clients, and external partners

Requirements:

• • 0-3 years of experience in social media and/or marketing
• • Interest in social media, marketing, branding, entertainment, or communications
• • Strong written and verbal communication skills
• • Familiarity with platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, and Facebook
• • Ability to create engaging written and visual content
• • Interest in influencer marketing and ability to research and identify potential influencers, creators, artists, and promotional partners
• • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
• • Creative, proactive, and willing to learn
• • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote environment
• • Familiarity with Canva or similar design tools preferred
• • Current undergraduate student, recent graduate, or equivalent practical experience preferred; relevant experience is not required
• • Familiarity with social media analytics or digital marketing tools is a plus but not required
