Product Designer

NANSENSE Inc. is a global leader in professional-grade wearable inertial sensing technologies for motion capture, biomechanics, ergonomics, and medical science. The Product Designer will create user-centered interfaces and high-performance experiences for web and software applications, conduct user research, develop prototypes, define design standards, and collaborate with engineering, product management, and customer-facing teams.

Responsibilities:

• Translating product requirements into user-centered interfaces, creating wireframes and prototypes, and refining visual design for web and software applications
• Conducting user research, synthesizing insights from customer feedback, and applying design thinking to solve complex interaction and workflow challenges
• Help define design standards, contribute to product strategy discussions, and ensure that all deliverables align with the needs of professional users in animation, biomechanics, ergonomics, and related fields

Requirements:

• Strong Product Design skills with the ability to take concepts from discovery through prototyping to final implementation
• Proficiency in Visual Design, including layout, typography, and design systems for digital products
• Experience applying Design Thinking methods to structure problems, generate solutions, and iterate based on feedback
• Hands-on User Research and UX Research experience, including interviews, usability testing, and analyzing user behavior
• Comfort with modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD or similar)
• Understanding of interaction design principles and accessibility best practices for digital interfaces
• Ability to communicate design decisions clearly and collaborate effectively with cross-functional remote teams
• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Self-directed work style, strong organization skills, and comfort with working in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment
• Experience designing tools or workflows for technical or professional users (e.g., animation, biomechanics, engineering) is a plus
