Land Data Analyst II/III/Sr.

EQT Corporation is seeking a Land Data Analyst to support its Land Department and broader data-driven business initiatives. The role focuses on advanced analytics, SQL-based solutions, data and code quality, reporting, and collaboration across BI, IT, Salesforce, and delivery teams.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with employees in EQT’s Land Department (Division Order, Land Administration, Title, Owner Relations, Business Development, Land Acquisitions) to ensure support of Land Data Scientist efforts in advanced model and pipeline creation
• Coordinate with internal BI/IT teams where needed to understand and implement table and code changes
• Coordinate with EQT’s “STAQ” (Delivery) team where needed to prioritize and push changes to environments in Salesforce, data bricks, AI pipelines
• Explore initial and existing processes and data tables for anomalies and patterns that can be improved
• Support analytics initiatives requiring advanced scripting and analytical methods
• Maintain and support analytical solutions using SQL
• Conduct code reviews to ensure quality, performance, maintainability, and alignment with standards
• Support Land Department with advanced analytical needs including and beyond standard BI reporting
• Apply advanced statistical and analytical techniques to solve complex business problems
• Clearly communicate insights, tradeoffs, and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Generate daily and weekly reports, charts, and visualizations to communicate data insights to stakeholders and management
• Work with Salesforce and EQT’s internal Salesforce department on recurring dataload and process initiatives

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science,  Data Science, Mathematics, or another closely related field
• 3+ years of coding experience
• Advanced SQL proficiency for implementing and optimizing analytical logic
• Proven experience delivering solutions in a BI environment
• Experience defining, enforcing, and reviewing shared coding standards
• Ability to refactor and improve codebases authored by multiple contributors
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
• Experience mentoring peers and influencing technical direction without direct authority
• Remote work is being considered for this role excluding the following states:  California, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, and Tennessee unless willing to relocate
• Working knowledge of Databricks and the Databricks ecosystem, including Lakehouse architecture,  Databricks SQL, notebooks, workflows/jobs, querying, and Unity Catalog
• Familiarity with applied statistical learning and advanced analytics techniques
• Experience collaborating with Oil and Gas Land Departments
• Exposure to cloud-based analytics platforms and modern data ecosystems
• Experience supporting analytics tied to strategic or executive-level decision-making
• Familiarity with CRM platforms, particularly Salesforce
