About this role

The company supports the onboarding and ongoing management of Discover Network issuers and issuer processors across credit, prepaid, and debit programs. The Business Analyst will manage a portfolio of clients, coordinate onboarding and release certification, resolve compliance and technical gaps, support payment-processing participants, and contribute to analytics and reporting initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Seeks opportunities for improvement within the department and supports department-level analytics and reporting tasks
Supports local teams in expanding services and acceptance footprints and boards new partners onto the network
Provides day-to-day support for issuers, user processors, network-to-network partners, and program managers by researching complex situations and supporting participants on operational and relationship matters
Supports participants through the release process by managing and coordinating certification, ensuring participants comply with operating rules and regulations, and engaging participants to support key initiatives

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED
2+ years of experience in Payments, financial services, or related experience (Card issuers, Issuer processors, etc)
In lieu of education, 4+ years of experience in Payments, financial services, or related experience
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Technology, Finance, Engineering, or related field
Experience with electronic payments in the merchant processing/card industry
Experience working with Acquirers, Issuers, Processors, and Gateways
Experience using Salesforce, Teradata, SQL, Snowflake, Tableau, and Blueworks
Experience troubleshooting, researching, and resolving transaction technical issues
Excellent internal and external client communication and management skills
Strong aptitude for planning, presenting, and organization
Ability to understand obligations outlined in program, contract, and technical requirement documents
Strong PC competency, including Google Workspace, Google Sheets, Google Docs, and Google Forms
Strong problem-solving skills
Advanced Smartsheet application development and support experience is a plus
