Senior Azure Cloud Integration Engineer

Leidos is a technology and engineering company serving government and commercial customers. The Senior Azure Cloud Integration Engineer will integrate Azure and Microsoft 365 GCC environments, manage cloud resources and hybrid identity systems, and develop secure, scalable, and compliant solutions. The role also involves collaborating with engineering teams, automating workflows, and evaluating emerging Azure and SaaS technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Integrate Azure services and Microsoft 365 GCC/GCC‑High capabilities into enterprise environments to support application development, testing, and production readiness
• Configure and manage Azure resources including virtual machines, storage accounts, networking components, and resource groups to support integrated cloud solutions
• Support hybrid identity environments, including Azure AD/Entra ID and AD Connect, ensuring reliable synchronization and access between on‑premises and cloud systems
• Implement identity‑driven integration approaches using Entra ID, MFA, SSO, RBAC, and role‑based access models to ensure secure system‑to‑system and user‑to‑system interactions
• Apply cloud security best practices across Azure and Microsoft 365 services to ensure proper governance, data protection, and compliance
• Support integration of SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS resources across Azure commercial, GCC, and GCC‑High environments
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and engineering teams to design and test integrated Azure services and cloud solutions
• Automate cloud platform documentation and support workflows using Azure tools, scripting, and Power Platform automation
• Evaluate emerging Azure and SaaS technologies to support continuous improvement and integration opportunities

Requirements:

• • Be a US Citizen or US Person who has lived in the United States for the past three (3) consecutive years
• • Be local to the DC Metro area for onsite work if needed
• • Holding a current Public Trust is preferred
• • Experience integrating cloud services within HHS or similar federal agencies
• • Certifications in Azure Administration, Azure Development, or Power Platform (Fundamentals/Associate/Developer/Architect)
• • Experience supporting or integrating solutions across Azure commercial, GCC, and GCC‑High environments
• • Background in evaluating and implementing emerging Azure technologies, particularly those tied to identity, collaboration, and automation
