Summer 2027 Intern – Enterprise Technology – Engineer (Software, Data, Infrastructure)

The Summer Intern will join the Enterprise Technology department to gain hands-on experience exploring emerging technologies and contributing to real-world research and development for employees, agents, and customers.

The Enterprise Technology department is involved in exploring new and emerging technologies. This program will offer you hands-on work along with real-world research and development opportunities. • As the summer program has a short duration, it is expected that hired interns will be available throughout the entire summer internship with minimal to no disruptions in their work schedule
• Remote interns could be asked to travel to an assigned location throughout the summer for onboarding and various events
• Selected interns must reside within the continental U.S. for the duration of the summer internship

Requirements:

• Seeking full-time college or university students (Freshmen & Sophomores)
• Courses on or Majors in Information Systems/IT or equivalent majors including but not limited to Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Statistics and Data related majors
• Drive and initiative to lead and affect positive change
• Leadership skills through extracurricular and professional endeavors
• Ability to thrive in a team environment, both in-person and virtual
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written
• A can-do attitude, and someone who loves to have a bit of fun!
• The ability to work in an environment that emphasizes information sharing, collaboration, teamwork, mutual respect, and integrity
• Strong aptitude and desire to learn new languages and frameworks
• Completed High School Diploma/GED
• At least one semester of college remaining after the summer of 2027
• The desire to work for State Farm upon graduation
• Commitment to full participation throughout the internship period with minimal schedule disruptions
