Casino Systems Project Manager

Synechron is a global consulting firm that combines digital technologies and innovative solutions to transform businesses. The Casino Systems Project Manager coordinates client product and service projects from inception through installation, including systems integration, operational improvements, process reengineering, and infrastructure deployments. The role oversees schedules and budgets, documents business processes, coordinates cross-functional teams, and supports software configuration, training, and project documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Will be working remotely and at client sites. Travel is mandatory
• Involves extensive interaction with sales, systems engineering, services consultants, product development, and other members of cross-functional teams
• Projects are focused on the delivery of new or enhanced products for the improvement of customer satisfaction through the use of technology
• Project management skills, rather than technical skills, are key, but a strong technical background is often required to manage competing interests
• Oversees schedules and budgets to ensure goal attainment
• Work with business partners to document and evaluate the “as-is” processes and to determine the “to be “business processes
• May be required to configure and teach Client proprietary software applications to customers
• Coordinate documentation requirements for conversions, upgrades, interfaces, business logic, reports, forms and workflow
• May be required to run internal meetings including stakeholders from a wide array of business partners

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience
• 5+ years project management experience managing information technology (IT) based projects
• Must have knowledge of, networked systems, project management, inventory management, MS Suite including MS Project, organizational and analytical skills, with excellent written and oral communication skills
• Group meeting facilitation skills
• Good presentation and communication skills
• Demonstrated experience in collecting, documenting, assimilating, estimating and prioritizing requirements with business input
• Demonstrated experience managing and delivering multiple projects (sometimes concurrently) involving cross functional teams
• Familiarity with SAP or PMI's project management methodology
• PMP desired but not essential
• Gaming operations experience preferred
• Ideally has knowledge of gaming industry, gaming regulations, casino operations and or slot technical ability
• Operational knowledge of standalone networked and wireless gaming devices
• Exposure to SAP Project Systems good-to-have
• Exposure to PPM good-to-have
