Healthcare IT Project Manager - Critical Support I

Oracle develops healthcare technologies that support clinicians, empower patients, and advance Federal healthcare systems. The company is seeking a technically skilled Project Manager to oversee critical support processes, manage incident resolution, coordinate project deliverables and schedules, and improve service continuity within a healthcare IT environment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee critical support items on the VA project, managing issues that cannot be resolved through traditional support means
• Drive the project management lifecycle for issue resolution, ensuring each incident is handled efficiently and effectively
• Manage deliverables throughout the support project, including milestones and project schedules
• Provide feedback to the team, customers, and corporate stakeholders when project milestones or schedules are at risk
• Ensure projects align with the goals and timelines outlined in the scope of work and schedule
• Communicate status updates to customer stakeholders and internal management
• Ensure consistency and best practices are utilized while adhering to customer standards
• Utilize knowledge of the Cerner Millennium platform or other EHR systems to execute basic troubleshooting and support
• Manage deliverables throughout the implementation project, including milestones and project schedule
• Provides feedback to the team, customer, and if applicable, corporate stakeholder when it is observed project milestones or schedule are at risk
• Ensure project is aligned with the goals and timelines of initiatives as defined in scope of work and schedule
• Communicate status to customer stakeholders and internal management
• Ensure consistency and best practices are utilized in conjunction with adhering to customer standards

Requirements:

• Visa / work permit sponsorship is not available for this position
• Applicants are required to read, write, and speak the following languages: English
• Experience working with Oracle Health Millennium (Cerner Millennium) products is required
• Strong technical background in Oracle Health Millennium (Cerner Millennium) EHR systems
• Proven experience in project management, particularly in healthcare IT environments
• Ability to develop and refine processes for incident management and service improvement
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate and resolve project challenges
