Business Intelligence Analyst

BAE Systems is a defense, aerospace, and security company delivering advanced electronics, intelligence solutions, and customer support. The Business Intelligence Analyst will develop and support Tableau and Power BI dashboards for Supply Chain and Operations, while partnering with stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions. The role also involves implementing AI and machine learning solutions, optimizing data visualization, supporting users, and maintaining data governance.

Responsibilities:

• Develops solutions to problems of unusual complexity which require a high degree of ingenuity, creativity and innovativeness. Challenges are frequently unique, and solutions may serve as precedent for future decisions
• As an AI solutions implementer, you will partner with the Enterprise AI team to design, develop, and deploy artificial intelligence and machine learning models to drive business value and solve complex problems across Operations
• Must be self-sufficient in gathering customer requirements and utilizing business context to create meaningful solutions for ES Operations
• Create well-branded and trusted solutions including Tableau & Power BI dashboards, web applications, automations, etc
• Responsible for KPI(s) ownership
• Serve in a collaborative environment, designing and implementing new features and enhancements based on user and team feedback
• Responsible for optimizing user experience and driving best practices in data visualization and user enablement
• Responsible for providing user and technical support documents, along with training
• Participate in user acceptance and quality assurance testing to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Maintain robust data governance processes to ensure data quality across all solutions

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Database Development, Software Engineering, or Computer Science with 4+ years' applicable experience
• Proficiency in SQL
• Working experience with Tableau and Power BI
• Experience with AI/machine learning, statistics and other data science tools (Stack AI, Microsoft Azure AI, Google AI Studio)
• Minimum 4 years of working experience with ETLs and data pipelines
• Strong Python skills
• Must be a team player, be comfortable in a multi-task environment, and have experience in presenting work output to all levels of management
• Must take initiative to solve problems, implement process improvements, and offer technical support to others on the team
• Must be a United States person with the ability to obtain a United States Security Clearance
• Familiarity with Manufacturing or Program Management practices
• Alteryx/Dataiku/Knime experience
• Working AWS experience
• Microsoft Power Automate experience
• SSAS and DAX experience
