Inside Sales, Agency Development Representative (P&C Insurance)

Swyfft is an insurance technology company reshaping how home insurance and commercial package products are priced and bound through fast, technology-enabled experiences. The Agency Development Representative will grow Swyfft’s agent base by identifying and signing new agency relationships, presenting products, educating agents, and partnering with sales and marketing teams to improve the agency platform experience.

Responsibilities:

• Identify, source, and “hunt down” new agent relationships to rapidly grow our agent base
• Understand prospective agent's customer base and marketing strategy by presenting and explaining how Swyfft fits with their customers and strategy
• Deliver persuasive sales presentations to agents by showcasing Swyfft’s world-class user experience and the products we offer
• Promote Swyfft’s platform through the education of agents at trade shows, conferences, and industry events
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions to inform sales strategies
• Partner with our sales and marketing team members to improve our agency platform experience

Requirements:

• You're comfortable working in a metric-driven, goal-oriented sales environment
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You can craft persuasive communications to capture the attention of even the most skeptical prospects
• Your natural curiosity about the P&C world makes you a valuable player in policy language and coverage
• 3+ years of sales experience in an MGA, carrier, or agency environment
• Previous knowledge of Homeowners, Commercial, and Flood policies and programs
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required
• High School Diploma or its equivalent (GED) is required
• We're an MS Office environment (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience using video and chat technology (MSTeams & Slack)
• Reliable high-speed internet connectivity required
• Designated quiet work from home space

• Some travel for day-to-day work, team meetings, and training will be required
• Experience using CRM programs such as HubSpot is a plus
