Healthcare IT Project Manager - Critical Support I

Oracle develops healthcare technologies that support clinicians, empower patients, and improve healthcare delivery through unified global data. The Healthcare IT Project Manager will oversee critical support processes for Federal healthcare systems, manage issue-resolution projects, track deliverables and schedules, communicate risks and status, and apply Cerner Millennium or other EHR knowledge to basic troubleshooting and support.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee critical support items on the VA project, managing issues that cannot be resolved through traditional support means
• Drive the project management lifecycle for issue resolution, ensuring each incident is handled efficiently and effectively
• Manage deliverables throughout the support project, including milestones and project schedules
• Provide feedback to the team, customers, and corporate stakeholders when project milestones or schedules are at risk
• Ensure projects align with the goals and timelines outlined in the scope of work and schedule
• Communicate status updates to customer stakeholders and internal management
• Ensure consistency and best practices are utilized while adhering to customer standards
• Utilize knowledge of the Cerner Millennium platform or other EHR systems to execute basic troubleshooting and support
• Manage deliverables throughout the implementation project, including milestones and project schedule. Provides feedback to the team, customer, and if applicable, corporate stakeholder when it is observed project milestones or schedule are at risk. Ensure project is aligned with the goals and timelines of initiatives as defined in scope of work and schedule. Communicate status to customer stakeholders and internal management. Ensure consistency and best practices are utilized in conjunction with adhering to customer standards

Requirements:

• Applicants are required to read, write, and speak the following languages: English
• Visa / work permit sponsorship is not available for this position
• Strong technical background in Cerner Millennium or equivalent EHR systems
• Proven experience in project management, particularly in healthcare IT environments
• Ability to develop and refine processes for incident management and service improvement
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate and resolve project challenges
