Senior Project Manager  

The public sector organization is seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead complex IT initiatives from planning through delivery. The role oversees cross-functional teams, manages scope, requirements, resources, risks, and project documentation, and ensures successful delivery and implementation of IT products, services, and systems.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee complex IT projects, including project scope, requirements, deliverables, schedules, and release plans
• Manage internal and external project teams, resources, milestones, risks, quality assurance, and project documentation
• Partner with customers, department leaders, control agencies, and technical stakeholders to coordinate project activities and resolve issues
• Conduct feasibility studies, cost-benefit analyses, change control, compliance reviews, and project performance assessments
• Oversee systems integration, information security planning, training, documentation, and successful implementation of IT solutions

Requirements:

• 7+ years of broad and progressively responsible IT project management experience, including 4+ years leading large or complex IT projects as a Senior Project Manager
• 3+ years of experience with software development projects, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Azure DevOps, and Agile Scrum
• 1+ year of experience with Azure Cloud and 1+ year of experience with Lucidchart
• Bachelor's degree and active PMP certification from PMI required; additional qualifying experience may substitute for the degree, but PMP certification is required
