Project Manager

Leidos is seeking a Project Manager to support the Federal Aviation Administration’s surveillance and radar modernization effort through the NISC team. The role is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing resources, schedules, budgets, and project activities while coordinating with FAA personnel, task and functional leaders, subcontractors, and support staff.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure all projects schedules are met and within budget constraints
• Provide timely/accurate responses to all technical and program inquiries received
• As required, assist in budget formulation activities utilizing FAA government databases
• As applicable, author required documents in support of program schedules
• Work independently to achieve day-to-day Program objectives which may significantly impact operational results or program objectives
• Update project schedules as required and provide input to FAA construction managers
• Organize impromptu telecons/meetings to ensure all project maintain schedule and cost
• Utilizing special client databases, provide programmatic input to other team members
• Perform investigations and root cause analysis
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Requires a BA or BS degree and 4 to 8 years of prior relevant experience OR additional years of relevant experience may be considered/accepted in lieu of a degree”
• Ability to work well with others
• Ability to present ideas to diverse audiences
• Proficient with MS Project and Excel (Macros)
• Prior experience supporting the FAA
• Knowledge of FAA radar technology
• Technical background (Highly preferred)
• Lean/Six Sigma Analysis skills
• Data Analytics
