Introduction:

The SQL Developer position involves working in a healthcare environment with a focus on data analysis, data visualization, and cloud computing. The role requires strong skills in SQL Server development, data standards, and knowledge of healthcare regulations such as HIPAA.

Responsibilities:

Develop SSIS packages and SQL Server solutions in a healthcare setting.
Create complex, parameterized reports using SSRS.
Ensure data privacy and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Analyze and optimize performance of stored procedures and T-SQL queries.
Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Requirements:

Required Skills:

Experience in SSIS and SQL Server development in a healthcare setting.
Knowledge of healthcare data standards.
Experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) is highly preferred.
Proficiency in T-SQL, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
Understanding of HIPAA regulations and data privacy best practices.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech.
Familiarity with healthcare analytics platforms or data warehouses.
Knowledge of Power BI or Tableau for data visualization.
Experience with Azure Data Factory or cloud-based ETL tools.
Certification in healthcare IT or data analytics (e.g., CHDA, Epic Clarity).
Design and implement data integrations using InterSystems HealthShare/IRIS.
