AI-Native AWS Cloud Software Engineer

Apolis is seeking an AI-Native AWS Cloud Software Engineer to develop and deploy production-grade cloud software. The role focuses on applying AI technologies throughout the software development lifecycle, building AWS systems, developing server- and client-side applications, and creating secure, large-scale, fault-tolerant solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrated fluency in leveraging AI technologies across the entire software development lifecycle, including breaking down user stories into actionable tasks, AI-assisted coding and testing, automated defect resolution, and deployment of fully tested software

Requirements:

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or

demonstrated equivalent experience

• Demonstrated fluency in leveraging AI technologies across the entire software development

lifecycle, including breaking down user stories into actionable tasks, AI-assisted coding and

testing, automated defect resolution, and deployment of fully tested software

• Deep, hands-on experience building and deploying production systems on AWS (e.g., EC2, Lambda,

ECS/EKS, S3, RDS/DynamoDB, API Gateway), with a track record of real, customer-facing

applications running in production

• Server-side software development experience with Python, Java, NodeJS, and/or other similar

technologies; client-side web application development experience using React, Backbone, native

JavaScript, and/or other comparable technologies

• Expertise in building secure, large-scale systems using fault-tolerant technologies (such as

Elasticsearch, CockroachDB, Oracle, MongoDB & Kafka)

• AWS certification (e.g., Solutions Architect, Developer) and/or CISSP/CCSP or similar security
