Outside Sales Account Manager - Process Filtration

Process Solutions Integration (PSI), a SunSource company, supplies instrumentation and filtration products and services for process applications. The Outside Sales Account Manager will develop customer relationships, provide technical filtration consulting, manage accounts, and implement strategies to achieve revenue and market-share goals.

Responsibilities:

• Travels regionally to call on existing and target customers
• Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and supports customer needs through frequent personal, written, and phone conversations
• Serve as technical filtration consultant to the customer
• Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
• Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales
• Identify, design, develop and implement market-driven strategies to achieve revenue goals and the company’s mission
• Increase customer base and add to existing customer profitability
• Leverage our expanding product lines to capture market share from vulnerable strategic competitors
• Promote a customer-oriented focus and advocate consultative customer relationships

Requirements:

• HS Diploma or GED
• 5+ years experience in industrial sales
• 3+ years industrial filtration sales experience
• Valid drivers license
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
• Computer proficiency to include use of laptop/desktop, MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Word, ability to learn and use a CRM system
• knowledge and experience in the process filtration industry
• knowledge of refinery and natural gas processing plants and how filtration plays a very important role in the operation of those process systems, as well as knowledge of those filtration products
• Bachelor's degree in related discipline is preferred
