Onboarding and Project Management Manager

Gallagher is a global insurance and risk management company that helps clients face risk with confidence through consulting tools, data, and analytics. The Onboarding and Project Management Manager provides project consultancy, stakeholder management, communication strategy, and account oversight for client portfolios, including strategic planning, financial management, proposals, and project delivery. The role also contributes to functional strategy and may supervise the day-to-day work of lower-level employees.

Responsibilities:

• Primarily focused on providing project consultancy stakeholder management and communication expertise for portfolio of client accounts
• Services client accounts through client ownership and senior stakeholder management, overarching communication strategy, subject/industry expertise, complex copywriting, and client profitability and growth
• Accountable for the whole service and relationship of allocated client
• Key responsibilities include: evaluating client needs and business goals to provide strategic solutions, problem solving and risk mitigation, and financial management via forecasting and invoicing
• Additional accountabilities include: researching, designing and overseeing the implementation of effective communication strategies based on a clear understanding of client needs, communication objectives and business goals, measuring the effectiveness of communication and refining strategies as required, analyzing outcomes and provide strategic recommendations and tactical advice, and oversight of annual client budgets and project estimates-monitoring time accrued against project budgets
• Contributes to the preparation and delivery of proposals and presentations for use in new business and marketing opportunities when required-attends new business pitches or meetings as required
• Provides consultative input and support at all stages of a project (including, but not limited to, briefings, checking drafts, client-specific or industry knowledge or insight, problem solving and risk mitigation, when required) to ensure the project is aligned with strategic objectives, delivered on specification and to the highest quality
• Contributes to the development of functional strategy
• May supervise day-to-day work of lower level employees, but does not typically have formal management role

Requirements:

• Required: Bachelor's degree and 5 years related experience required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office and computing skills
• Creative and technical copywriting and copy-editing
• Experience of Proofreading
• Willingness to travel (UK and US)
• Confidence to challenge and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders when required
• Demonstrates clear leadership and business management at all times
• Able to deal with change in a positive way
• Ability to work under pressure, solve problems and develop workable solutions
