RoleOverview:
Acts as the lead network architecture advisor for the CalCrash modernization effort, responsible for designing secure, scalable enterprise network architectures and supporting cloud/network integration planning across statewide public safety systems.
Key Responsibilities
Develop enterprise network architecture strategies and alternatives
Design secure and highly available network solutions
Support:
Cloud connectivity
Hybrid networking
VPC/VNet segmentation
Routing and load balancing
Ensure alignment with:
CHP enterprise standards
State security requirements
CJIS / compliance requirements
Develop network architecture documentation and diagrams
Participate in architecture reviews and technical planning sessions
Support:
PAL planning activities
Technical solution analysis
Security planning
Provide knowledge transfer and mentoring to CHP network staff
Collaborate closely with the Cloud Enterprise Architect
