Government Contracts Project Manager

AlphaGov delivers government classification, compensation, and workforce projects. The Government Contracts Project Manager leads post-award contract delivery, coordinating kickoffs, schedules, risks, stakeholders, client meetings, deliverables, invoicing, reporting, and closeout.

Responsibilities:

• The Project Manager will lead kickoff, schedule, workplan, risk tracking, SME coordination, client meetings, deliverables, invoicing coordination, status reporting, and closeout
• You will coordinate municipal, state, federal, and education stakeholders; maintain clear decision logs; manage dependencies and risks; organize quality reviews; and ensure that written deliverables are complete, timely, and aligned with contract requirements

Requirements:

• • Proven project management experience on government or public-sector contracts, including municipal, state, federal, or education clients
• Strong client communication, schedule management, risk control, issue escalation, and coordination of vendors and subject-matter experts
• Experience running post-award kickoffs, workplans, status meetings, deliverable reviews, invoicing coordination, and contract closeout
• Comfortable with remote-first delivery and occasional travel for client meetings or project needs
• Familiarity with public-sector contracting norms; SAM and UEI familiarity is a plus
• PMP or equivalent project leadership experience is a plus but not required
