Life Sciences Sales Account Manager - Southwest (Water Technologies)

Veolia is a global environmental services company specializing in water, energy, and waste management, with a Water Technology business focused on water scarcity, quality, productivity, and energy challenges. The Sales Account Manager will grow life sciences sales across the Southwest territory by developing customer partnerships, generating opportunities, presenting analytical instrument solutions, managing accounts, and supporting end users through site visits and equipment demonstrations.

Responsibilities:

• Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks
• Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success
• Develop positive relationships with clients
• Act as the point of contact and handle customers’ individual needs
• Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner
• Report on the status of accounts and transactions
• Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives. Monitor sales metric (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
• Attend company sponsored trade shows within the territory and bring awareness to local or regional conferences that would help create sales opportunities in the territory
• Have a basic technical understanding of our competitors’ products and sales distribution
• Perform equipment demonstrations independently to support instrumentation sales and maintain own demo instruments
• Travel within territory to customer sites to develop and maintain business, perform equipment demos as needed, and assist in the sale of aftermarket products

• • At least 5 years capital equipment sales work experience or equivalent required
• • Experiencing working or selling capital equipment in a GMP life sciences environment
