Manager Business Analysis and Solutions

The Manager Business Analysis and Solutions will lead teams and initiatives that improve operational effectiveness, deliver technology-enabled business solutions, optimize processes, and enhance customer outcomes across the Group Benefits organization.

Responsibilities:

• Inspire, coach, and develop a team of Business Analysts, Configuration Analysts, and specialists
• Foster an inclusive, accountable, and growth-oriented culture where employees can do their best work
• Establish clear goals, performance expectations, and development plans aligned with business priorities
• Build team capabilities to support current and future organizational needs
• Lead business analysis, automation, and solution delivery efforts that improve operational effectiveness and customer experience
• Oversee work intake, prioritization, capacity planning, and execution across a portfolio of initiatives
• Use data, metrics, and business insights to inform decisions, improve processes, and measure outcomes
• Identify opportunities to streamline operations and implement continuous improvement practices
• Collaborate with business and technology leaders to align priorities, resources, and delivery plans
• Influence decisions and navigate competing priorities to achieve shared business objectives
• Serve as a trusted advisor, helping stakeholders translate business needs into practical, scalable solutions
• Build strong relationships across teams, vendors, and business partners to drive results
• Lead business requirements, testing, and user acceptance activities to ensure solutions meet business needs
• Promote best practices, governance, and consistency across business analysis and solution delivery processes
• Support the successful implementation of technology and operational changes through thoughtful planning and execution
• Oversee key vendor relationships, service level performance, and issue resolution
• Partner with internal stakeholders to evaluate vendor effectiveness and drive continuous improvement
• Support budget management, contract oversight, and vendor governance activities

Requirements:

• 6+ years of progressive experience in business operations, business analysis, project management, or a related discipline
• Demonstrated experience leading teams, coaching employees, and driving measurable business results
• Experience partnering across business and technology organizations to deliver complex initiatives
• Knowledge of user acceptance testing (UAT), operational processes, and continuous improvement methodologies
• An experienced people leader who is passionate about developing talent, building inclusive teams, and creating a culture of accountability and belonging
• A strategic thinker who can connect day-to-day execution to broader business goals and organizational priorities
• Skilled at influencing stakeholders, building partnerships, and leading through change in a collaborative environment
• Adept at balancing competing priorities, managing resources effectively, and making sound business decisions
• Experienced in business analysis, project leadership, operational improvement, and technology-enabled business solutions
• A continuous improvement mindset with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• High school diploma required
• Ability to travel as needed to support the business
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at hire and must maintain authorization to work in the United States throughout their employment with our company
• Minimum Internet Speed:100 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload, in alignment with the FCC's definition of "broadband."
• Internet Type:Fiber, Cable (e.g., Comcast, Spectrum), or DSL
• Experience in Group Benefits insurance, including Short-Term Disability (STD), Long-Term Disability (LTD), Life, and Absence Management products and operations preferred
• Professional certifications related to business analysis, project management, leadership, or process improvement are a plus
• Experience with Fineos and/or claims systems migrations is a plus
• Bachelor's degree preferred high school diploma required
