Drinking Water Project Manager

LGL Technologies is seeking a technically focused Drinking Water Project Manager to evaluate, plan, design, and construct municipal drinking water systems. The role leads multiple projects, collaborates with clients and internal teams, manages project delivery, and supports marketing and proposal efforts involving treatment, distribution, regulatory, and funding initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Drinking water distribution capacity analysis and design
• Drinking water treatment system upgrades
• PFAS treatment systems
• Lead and Copper Rule project initiatives

Requirements:

• 10 - 20 years of consulting engineering experience
• Registered Professional Engineer in Massachusetts, Maine, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Florida or California (or ability to apply for reciprocity)
• The successful candidate will have project management and delivery expertise in civil and environmental engineering and an in-depth understanding of the engineering concepts associated with municipal drinking water systems
• Ability to manage multiple projects with demonstrated strong project management skills
• Well-versed in state and federal regulations
• Knowledgeable in state bidding laws and funding programs
• Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
• Demonstrated ability to conduct effective presentations to stakeholders
• Experience with proposal writing and developing project scope, budget, and schedules
• A B.S. Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or an M.S. Degree
• Familiarity with a broad range of issues related to master planning, treatment, and distribution systems
