Account Manager - Promotional Products & Branded Merchandise

Bullpen Marketing is a creative marketing company seeking an experienced Account Manager to manage and grow an established portfolio of client accounts. The role oversees promotional products, branded merchandise, print, fulfillment, kitting, direct mail, and online-store projects from concept through delivery while maintaining strong client relationships and coordinating suppliers and internal teams.

Responsibilities:

• Manage, retain and grow an established portfolio of client accounts
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients
• Build relationships with multiple contacts and departments within client organizations
• Manage projects from initial request through product selection, quoting, approvals, production, fulfillment and delivery
• Source creative promotional products, apparel and branded merchandise solutions
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal team members on pricing, artwork, proofs, production and shipping
• Keep clients proactively informed of project status, deadlines and any changes
• Identify repeat-order, cross-sell and account-growth opportunities
• Maintain accurate client, project and opportunity information in our systems
• Follow up after projects and proactively identify upcoming client needs
• Participate in supplier meetings, industry education and professional development

Requirements:

• an experienced Account Manager with promotional products industry experience
• highly organized, proactive, responsive and comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines at once
• 3+ years of promotional products, branded merchandise or closely related industry experience
• Distributor-side experience
• Experience managing multiple client accounts and projects simultaneously
• Strong promotional product sourcing and supplier knowledge
• Excellent client relationship and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through
• The ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines without things falling through the cracks
• A proactive mindset—you don't wait for clients to ask for an update
• Confidence working independently in a remote environment
• A genuine interest in growing existing client relationships, not simply processing orders
• strong organization, responsiveness, follow-through and the ability to manage multiple accounts, projects, deadlines and priorities simultaneously
• Promotional products/branded merchandise experience is strongly preferred
• Experience with Commonsku and Sage is a major plus
