Associate Project Manager (Remote, USA)

Tempus AI, Inc. develops an AI-enabled precision medicine platform that connects real-world evidence to support clinical care. The Associate Project Manager coordinates custom collaboration and pharma projects, manages stakeholder communication, and monitors sample and project progress throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee project management for custom collaboration projects
• Assist in scoping opportunities and workflow impact analysis for new collaboration opportunities
• Support interdepartmental coordination of sample receipt through reporting
• Ensure chain of custody of sample and data is validated and working as intended
• Collation and storage of documentation records
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in life or physical science
• Excellent customer and service focus
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Demonstrated success working with a team
• Must be able to influence without authority
• Demonstrated knowledge of operational/logistical aspects of clinical testing as well as regulatory requirements; GCP
• Wide application of technical principles, practices, and procedures
• Strong understanding of business unit function and cross group dependencies/relationships
• 3+ years of project management experience
• 3+ years of related work experience with a strong understanding of clinical diagnostics, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
• 2+ years of formal project management experience, leading cross-functional initiatives through the full project lifecycle from initiation to closeout
• Demonstrated proficiency in digital project management platforms (e.g., Jira, Asana, Monday.com, MS Project, Smartsheet, or Trello) to build project plans, track milestones, and manage team workflows
