Lead Product Manager, Feed ERP

Datacor is a provider of software solutions for the process manufacturing industry, including ERP, CRM, asset tracking, simulation, and formulation products. The Lead Product Manager will own the strategy, roadmap, commercial outcomes, pricing, and packaging for Feed Mill Manager and Pennent Mill Manager while leading customer discovery, AI-enabled product capabilities, launches, and cross-functional product execution.

Responsibilities:

• Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Feed Mill Manager and Pennent Mill Manager, aligning Engineering, Services, Support, and Commercial teams on priorities that drive retention, cross-sell, upsell, and new-market growth
• Own the numbers. Accountable for product-level ARR, net revenue retention, and win rate
• Build the pricing and packaging recommendation, including tier design and customer migration, and present it to the Datacor Pricing Committee
• Frame ambiguous business goals into a problem, options, and a plan. Make product-level tradeoffs, influence resourcing within the unit, and work across Datacor products to avoid duplicative investment
• Run competitive research and win/loss analysis, and turn findings into roadmap and positioning changes
• Lead the product advisory group, from agenda to synthesis to follow-through, and represent Datacor Animal Nutrition at industry events
• Validate before you build. Set success criteria up front, test ideas with customers using AI-built prototypes, and kill work that misses the bar
• Own AI-enabled capabilities in the product, including quality bars, failure modes, and customer trust, and an AI-assisted discovery workflow that is fast and verifiable
• Prioritize the backlog against the roadmap, defining use cases, requirements, and measurable outcomes, and escalating cross-functional risks and blockers
• Own tiered launches with readiness gates and success criteria. Drive Sales, Services, and Support enablement (battlecards, objection handling, AE/SE readiness) and partner with Product Marketing on analyst briefings, webinars, and user conference sessions
• Lead without direct authority. Broker competing priorities, hold the line on product decisions, coach junior PMs, and own interview loops for the product

Requirements:

• Meaningful experience in agribusiness, feed manufacturing, or commodity trading, with working knowledge of at least two of: commodity merchandising, ingredient procurement, feed plant operations or livestock feed regulatory requirements
• You have owned a B2B software product's roadmap and business outcomes, balancing strategy with delivery
• Evidence that your pricing, packaging, win/loss, or business case work changed a decision
• You push past a customer's requested solution to the underlying problem and validate before committing engineering time
• You can lay out a problem, options, tradeoffs, and a recommendation in a written narrative someone can act on without a meeting, and present it credibly to executives, engineers, and customers
• You use AI daily to research, draft, analyze, and prototype, and you know when its output needs verification
• Comfortable discussing data models, integrations, and product details with development teams
• You drive results through teams that do not report to you
• Experience with feed and/or ration formulation software, familiarity with nutrition or feed labeling regulations, software development, or product managing AI or data-driven capabilities
