Sr. Marketing Manager - Remote (Dallas, TX Preferred)

Velocity is a managed solutions company seeking a hands-on Senior Marketing Manager to own and execute its day-to-day marketing function. The role will develop and implement marketing plans, manage content and campaigns, coordinate events and trade shows, support Sales and Channel teams, and strengthen the company’s brand and customer engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Support the development and execution of marketing plans aligned with company, sales, channel, and growth priorities
• Manage marketing calendars, campaigns, projects, and measurable objectives across multiple initiatives
• Identify opportunities to strengthen Velocity’s market presence, customer engagement, and sales support
• Manage marketing initiatives from planning through execution, measurement, and follow-up
• Track marketing activities and performance and provide regular updates to leadership and key stakeholders
• Manage the development and ongoing maintenance of marketing content and collateral
• Develop clear, customer-focused messaging that communicates Velocity’s solutions and value proposition
• Create and maintain sales presentations, solution materials, brochures, case studies, digital content, and other marketing assets
• Partner with internal subject matter experts to translate technical solutions into compelling business messaging
• Ensure messaging and marketing materials remain current, accurate, and consistent across channels
• Manage Velocity’s social media content calendar and support ongoing social media initiatives
• Coordinate digital marketing campaigns and online marketing activities
• Coordinate website content updates and marketing-related improvements
• Use CRM and marketing tools to execute campaigns, track engagement, and measure results
• Plan and coordinate Velocity’s trade shows, industry conferences, customer events, partner events, sponsorships, and other marketing events
• Manage event calendars, budgets, logistics, messaging, collateral, promotional materials, and internal coordination
• Partner with Sales and Channel teams to establish business objectives and appropriate pre- and post-event follow-up
• Research and evaluate event and sponsorship opportunities based on business value and alignment with Velocity’s priorities
• Coordinate third-party resources, vendors, designers, and other partners during events and marketing projects as needed
• Partner with Sales and Channel teams to develop marketing programs that support pipeline and revenue growth
• Develop presentations, campaigns, collateral, and messaging that support direct and channel sales
• Support customer expansion, partner marketing, and account-based marketing initiatives
• Ensure Sales and Channel teams have current, consistent, and effective marketing materials
• Maintain consistency of Velocity’s brand, messaging, and visual identity across marketing channels and materials
• Ensure external communications accurately represent Velocity’s solutions, capabilities, and positioning
• Coordinate with external agencies, designers, contractors, and other marketing resources as needed

Requirements:

• 5–7 years of progressive B2B marketing experience, preferably within technology, telecommunications, managed services, or a related industry
• Experience managing multiple marketing disciplines, including content, digital and social media, campaigns, events, and sales enablement
• Strong writing, editing, messaging, and presentation skills
• Demonstrated experience coordinating trade shows, customer events, sponsorships, and event logistics
• Experience developing marketing content, sales collateral, and customer-facing communications
• Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Strong Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft 365 skills
• Ability to work effectively across Sales, Customer Success, Operations, Channel, and leadership teams

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred
• Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM and marketing automation platforms preferred
