Clinical Project Manager

Surf Search is seeking a Clinical Project Manager to oversee clinical studies supporting medical device products. The role manages study planning, execution, budgets, timelines, vendors, CROs, clinical teams, regulatory documentation, and compliance through study close-out.

Responsibilities:

• Manage clinical studies from planning and feasibility through close-out
• Develop and maintain study timelines, budgets, project plans, and deliverables
• Manage CROs, core laboratories, imaging vendors, consultants, and other third parties
• Coordinate cross-functional clinical teams and external study partners
• Monitor study progress, data quality, risks, budgets, and timelines
• Support clinical and regulatory documentation, submissions, and reporting
• Ensure studies comply with protocols, GCP/ICH guidelines, applicable regulations, and internal procedures
• Communicate study status, risks, and milestones to leadership and project teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences, nursing, engineering, or a related field
• 6+ years of clinical research, clinical operations, or clinical trial management experience
• Medical device clinical research experience
• Experience managing clinical studies involving regulatory submissions, post-market activities, or investigator-initiated research
• Experience managing CROs, core laboratories, imaging vendors, and other external service providers
• Experience with vendor contracts, budgets, and negotiations
• Strong knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines and applicable U.S. medical device clinical research regulations
• Strong project management skills, including management of scope, budget, timelines, resources, and deliverables
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple studies and competing priorities
• Experience with CTMS, EDC systems, and Microsoft Office
• advanced degree
• preferably with Class II or Class III devices
• preference for East Coast-based candidates
