Market Intelligence & Business Analytics Intern - Summer 2027

RHI Magnesita is a global industrial manufacturing company supplying refractory products, systems, and solutions. The Market Intelligence & Business Analytics Intern will support market research, data analysis, dashboards, and strategic projects that provide actionable insights for commercial and sales decision-making across North American steel and industrial markets.

Responsibilities:

• Support market research projects focused on steel, manufacturing, and broader industrial market trends
• Analyze internal and external data sources to identify business opportunities, competitive insights, and emerging market developments
• Assist in creating dashboards, reports, presentations, and market intelligence summaries using tools such as Excel and Power BI
• Partner with commercial and sales teams to organize customer and market feedback into meaningful insights
• Participate in market deep dives and strategic projects supporting growth initiatives across key business segments
• Explore emerging AI-enabled tools and analytics solutions that improve how business intelligence is gathered and shared
• Help maintain data quality and accuracy across multiple sources and reporting platforms
• Gain exposure to customer operations, commercial strategy, and executive decision-making processes

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Marketing, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field
• Expected graduation date between December 2027 and May 2029
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Interest in market intelligence, business strategy, sales analytics, AI, or commercial decision-making
• Effective communication skills and ability to present findings clearly to various audiences
• Strong curiosity, initiative, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced industrial environment
• experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or other analytics tools
• Previous internship, project work, or coursework involving data analysis
