Senior Google Media Buyer (Performance Marketing)

Loyalty Clubs USA is a performance-driven company offering prize-based experiences across multiple brands. The Senior Google Media Buyer will own and scale the Google advertising channel across Search, YouTube, Performance Max, and Demand Gen, managing strategy, campaigns, optimization, measurement, reporting, compliance, and creative collaboration. The role also serves as the Google subject-matter expert for the paid media team and mentors junior buyers.

Responsibilities:

• Own the Google channel P&L across all five brand verticals: Search, YouTube, Performance Max and Demand Gen
• Set and run the quarterly Google testing roadmap: bidding strategies, campaign structure, audience signals, creative and landing pages. Document what you learn and change what you do because of it
• Build the scaling plan: where the next dollar goes, what it should return, and when to pull back. Present it with the data behind it
• Monitor pacing and performance against weekly targets and flag risks and opportunities before they show up in the numbers
• Build, launch and manage campaigns end to end, with account structure and naming conventions that hold up as spend grows
• Run daily optimization on budgets, bids, audiences, creative rotation and campaign structure
• Implement value-based and tROAS bidding fed by first-party conversion data, including enhanced conversions and offline conversion imports where they move efficiency
• Keep account hygiene tight: negatives, search term mining, placement exclusions, asset group health and script or rule-based automation where it saves time without hiding problems
• Report against our core metrics: new-customer ROAS, subscription growth and AOV, not platform-reported ROAS
• Own Google-side tracking end to end: GA4, Google Tag Manager, conversion actions and our third-party attribution stack (Triple Whale). If the data is wrong, you're the one who catches it
• Design and read incrementality tests (geo holdouts, conversion lift) so we know what Google is actually adding on top of Meta
• Contribute Google performance to the weekly paid media reporting cadence with clear commentary on what moved, why, and what you're doing about it
• Brief our in-house creative team and creative agency on YouTube, display and Demand Gen assets built for performance, with specific direction on hooks, formats, lengths and angles
• Feed platform learnings back into creative strategy, and adapt winning Meta creative for Google placements where it fits
• Own Google Ads policy compliance for our sweepstakes and promotional model: ad approvals, landing page requirements, disclosures and account standing
• Stay ahead of Google policy changes affecting promotions and giveaways, and flag risk before it becomes a suspension
• Be the Google subject-matter expert for the paid media team. Mentor junior buyers as the channel grows, and set the standards and SOPs they'll follow

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on Google Ads experience at B2C, DTC, eCommerce or subscription brands
• You've personally owned budgets of $150k+ per month, and you can talk through what you did with them and what happened
• You've built or rebuilt a Google channel from a low base and scaled it profitably
• Deep, current expertise in Search, Performance Max and YouTube, with real Demand Gen experience
• Strong on measurement: GA4, Google Tag Manager, conversion action setup, enhanced conversions and offline conversion imports
• Experience with third-party attribution (Triple Whale, Northbeam or similar) is expected
• You've run incrementality tests and can explain the difference between platform ROAS and business reality: new vs. returning customers, attribution windows, lift vs. last click
• You've briefed creative teams and can write a brief specific enough that the first cut is close
• Organized and self-directed: you keep a testing calendar and a change log, and you communicate what you did and why without being chased
• You're comfortable being the most senior Google voice in the company, setting standards, and mentoring buyers who are earlier in their careers
• Based in the United States with authorization to work in the US. We're not able to offer visa sponsorship for this role
• Strong plus: experience advertising sweepstakes, promotions or other policy-sensitive offer types on Google, and a track record of keeping accounts in good standing
