Senior Data Scientist & AI/ML Engineer

job summary:

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist with strong cloud and full-stack software engineering background to join our dynamic team in Auburn Hills, MI. You will be responsible for designing, building, and operationalizing modern machine learning, generative AI, and agentic AI solutions on AWS, delivering actionable intelligence directly to business end-users.

responsibilities:

• Design, build, and deploy ML, LLM, and Agentic AI applications using OpenAI APIs, semantic RAG architectures, and vector search.
• Develop interactive front-end web interfaces (React, TypeScript, or Java-based UI) to present model outputs and insights.
• Containerize workloads and manage automated CI/CD pipelines, DevSecOps standards, and GPU compute on AWS (SageMaker, Bedrock, ECS/EKS, Lambda).
• Implement governance, monitoring, and human-in-the-loop oversight to track model performance, drift, and security compliance over time.

qualifications:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

8+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, and Software Development.

Proven track record building and deploying production AI/ML applications on AWS.

Hands-on experience with LLMs, Agentic AI orchestration, and semantic RAG systems.

Strong coding proficiency in Python and Java, along with front-end development skills (React, TypeScript, or Java UI).

Experience with Docker, GPU compute, CI/CD automation, and DevSecOps in ML workflows.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with multi-cloud environments (Google Cloud Platform and Azure).

AWS Cloud or Machine Learning certifications.

Knowledge of Responsible AI frameworks, bias mitigation, and model explainability tools.
