Business Analyst II, Provider Data

Centene Corporation is a healthcare organization focused on connecting people to the care they need. The Business Analyst II, Provider Data supports provider-directory accuracy and regulatory readiness by analyzing, mapping, validating, and reconciling data across multiple sources. The role investigates discrepancies, identifies root causes, supports reporting and process improvement, and coordinates with internal teams, data owners, and vendors to resolve issues.

Responsibilities:

• Support business initiatives through data analysis, identification of implementation barriers and user acceptance testing of new systems
• Identify and analyze data, user requirements, procedures, and problems to improve existing processes
• Perform detailed analysis on assigned projects, investigate discrepancies and root cause, recommend potential business solutions and assist with implementation
• Identify ways to enhance performance management, data quality, validation, automation, and operational reports related to new business implementation processes
• Develop and incorporate organizational best practices into business applications
• Lead problem solving and coordination efforts between various business units to document findings, resolve issues, and validate outcomes
• Assist with formulating and updating departmental policies and procedures
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future
• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
• 2-4 years of business process or data analysis experience
• Advanced Excel experience with data comparisons, lookups, validation, filtering, and reconciliation
• Experience analyzing and reconciling information across multiple data sources and investigating discrepancies through root-cause resolution
• Power BI, SQL, Python, Power Query, automation, provider data, or healthcare data experience
• Candidates located within the Eastern or Central time zones
• preferably in healthcare
• Project management experience
